Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport

Published twice per year in February and August, the Journal of Legal Aspects of Sport (JLAS) is an international, peer-reviewed journal that has an interdisciplinary appeal to researchers and practitioners in the field of sport law.

JLAS is strongly committed to the publication of theoretical and applied research on law and policy issues from any tradition of scholarship.

The special editors for this issue are Professor Arthur R. Miller (NYU Law) and Professor Jodi S. Balsam, (Brooklyn Law School). Professor Miller is one of the nation’s most distinguished legal scholars and is an Emmy winner for his work on PBS’ The Constitution. Professor Balsam is both an accomplished professor and lawyer of sports law with an impressive list of media appearances that include ESPN Outside the Lines, the New York Times, Bloomberg, and U.S. News & World Report.

JLAS considers for publication submissions following guidelines of the Harvard Citator/Bluebook or Publication Manual of the American Psychological Association (APA).
